It may just be what you need, someone to talk with, an informal conversation, or it may also be an offer for you who is having a hard time and cannot get the desired treatment through the public sector. There are long waiting lists to a psychologist, and by having a talk therapy can be a good alternative for many who are struggling with the most common everyday problems/crises we all can be affected by.
